Student Projects

Our students produce a wide variety of practical work in the field of planning.

All master's students are required to take the Planning Workshop, a practicum course which examines a selected urban or regional planning problem to demonstrate the interdisciplinary character of planning practice, and to give second-year planning students an opportunity to collaboratively engage in socioeconomic analysis, physical planning, and implementation policy formulation.

Graduating master's students also complete a professional project to showcase the application of their area of interest to a real world scenario or plan analysis.

Our PhD students also engage in scholarly research.
