Conservation Subdivisions in Southeastern Wisconsin
Aslı is leading an investigation about the environmental merits of conservation subdivision design. The study examines environmental merits of conservation subdivisions built in Waukesha County, WI between 1990-2005 and involves a comparative analysis of conservation and conventional subdivisions built during the same period.
The research team has developed a GIS-based toolkit to help design and assess conservation subdivisions. The toolkit is available at no cost to interested planners and developers at the following link: Download GIS-Based Toolkit. If you have any questions or suggestions about the toolkit, have trouble projecting your data layers for the Site Assessment component, or cannot use compressed files, please contact Aslı at firstname.lastname@example.org.
