Transportation Project Coordinator
Incumbents in this classification manage the successful delivery of transportation construction projects through the entire project life cycle. Requires experience in balancing customer and contractor needs, scope, time, cost, risk and quality while promoting a high level of performance and effectively managing expectations. The Transportation Project Coordinator has an understanding of project management approaches to coordinating multiple projects and supports internal and external stake holders to deliver effective project solutions. Coordinate and perform a variety of administrative duties related to the development of engineering and construction projects in the Transportation department, including communications, coordinating consultants and contractors, contract administration, maintenance of projected budgets, acquiring resources, coordinating internal resources and ensuring on time completion.
